How it works

We can offer you a mystery party in several different formats. This information page describes how to run a murder mystery party at home for between 10 to 15 guests.

With all our games you will receive detailed instructions to make planning and running the games as easy as possible. Also, we are available for customer support in case you need any help along the way. 

Step 1

INVITATIONS

Game Host assigns a character for each guest and sends invitations with short character description and background story.

Game Host can also play along and be part of the game.

Step 2

GUESTS ARRIVE AT THE PARTY

Guests arrive dressed in their character and receive an envelope with more information about their character and about the game.

Step 3

HOST READS AN INTRODUCTION

When everybody has arrived the host reads a short introduction to the game and the mingle playing their roles.

MURDER OCCURS!

POLICE DETECTIVE SHARES EVIDENCE

The guest who played the Victim in previous rounds takes the role of a police detective and shares evidence with the guests. Guests review the evidence and share the information between them before making final accusations.

Step 6

VOTING

Guests give in their Game Ballots stating who the murderer is, what’s his motive, voting for the best dressed, etc.

Step 7

SOLUTION

Detective makes an accusation and the Murderer confesses. Party Host hands out awards.
